The lamp current is misleading - Although the current in a 75 watt 120 volt lamp will be the same as in a 150 watt 220 volt lamp, the filament is half as long so you'll have about half the illumination output. The only other issues I can think of: 1: The cord cap will have to change from the 220 style and 2: The lamp cord may be undersized for 120 volts at twice the current. I suspect it is pretty much unavoidable, given that the strands are composed of varying lengths of hemp fiber - not the single lengths you find in synthetic rope. Also, hemp fibers tend to be stiffer than synthetic fibers.
